Repairs & Returns

Procedure

If you wish to send in a product for return, repair or exchange, you will be given an RMA Number (Return Materials Authorization) upon completion of a short form, please complete this for Returning and Repairing Product.

Prepay all shipments to Kayden and clearly identify the outside of the shipping container with your RMA Number.

Kayden cannot accept the following products for credit return:

  1) Custom products which were designed and/or manufactured to customer specifications.
2) Software that has been opened.
3) Documentation.
4) Equipment tags.
5) Calibrated set points / flow curves.
6) Equipment which was abused.

Repair FAQ

Q1 When does Kayden justify a product as economical to repair?
A1   When the total repair cost - inclusive of parts and labor - is 50% or less of a replacement unit; providing the product is still in production - it may be justified to repair a product in the event it is no longer produced and a direct upgrade is not currently available.
 
Q2 Why repair a product when the repair cost is up to 75% or even 100% of a new replacement unit?
A2   When you need it immediately and no replacement is available due to obsolescence or unacceptable delivery times.
